Job Summary
We are seeking a Fleet Operations Executive to supervise daily bus operations based in Poonamallee, Hyderabad. This role entails managing intercity bus services to guarantee timely departures and arrivals, coordinating teams, and maintaining the overall service quality and vehicle readiness.
Key Duties
- Oversee daily intercity bus operations ensuring schedules are strictly followed.
- Liaise with drivers, cleaning personnel, and ground support staff to maintain smooth service delivery.
- Monitor fleet availability, address vehicle breakdowns and minimize downtime.
- Plan trips, coordinate routes and manage bus deployment effectively.
- Ensure buses are clean, undergoing routine maintenance, and prepared for service.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to facilitate repairs and servicing.
- Track fuel consumption and compile basic operational reports and MIS data.
- Resolve on-site issues, manage delays, and escalate challenges as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all permits, documentation, and regulatory standards.
Candidate Requirements
- 2 to 4 years experience in fleet operations preferably in bus, cab, or logistics sectors.
- Proven exposure to intercity or fixed-route transport operations is highly desirable.
- Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to supervise drivers and support staff effectively.
- Basic understanding of vehicle operations and maintenance protocols.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and preparing fundamental reports.
- Flexibility to work in rotational shifts and extended hours as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in bus operations or transport aggregation firms, beyond just backend support roles.
