Job description
Position Overview
UniAcco is seeking a Business Analyst with over one year of experience to transform data into actionable insights that facilitate informed business decisions. The selected candidate will collaborate daily with teams from Finance, Operations, Product, and Marketing to evaluate performance metrics, construct dashboards, automate reporting tasks, and aid in strategic planning.
Primary Duties
- Examine extensive business and financial datasets to uncover patterns, irregularities, and key insights supporting the organization's decision-making process.
- Create, update, and automate dashboards and reports leveraging SQL, Excel, Python, and BI tools to monitor essential business indicators.
- Work closely with cross-departmental teams to comprehend business needs and deliver data-centric solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy by validating and reconciling information across various systems to maintain reliable reporting.
- Compile monthly reports on business performance and articulate findings alongside actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Seek opportunities to streamline manual reporting through automation to enhance reporting efficiency.
- Track business metrics continuously, analyze performance fluctuations, and propose strategies for operational and financial improvements.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience.
- Residency within Mumbai is mandatory.
- Strong command of SQL, Python programming, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency.
- Familiarity with BI platforms such as Metabase, Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Understanding of financial reporting frameworks and KPI dashboard construction.
- Excellent skills in analysis, communication, and managing diverse stakeholders.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-moving, interdisciplinary work setting.
- Prior experience with automated report generation and data validation techniques is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary range from ₹400,000 to ₹650,000.
