Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager at Group-IB, you will play a crucial role within the ANZ Sales Team, spearheading strategic growth initiatives and expanding our presence in the Australian Capital Territory and the Federal Government sector. Your focus will be on securing high-value business opportunities through building and nurturing trusted relationships with stakeholders while promoting our cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions across government, enterprise, and critical infrastructure fields.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth in the ACT and Federal Government sector by acquiring new clients and deepening existing partnerships.
- Engage and identify decision-makers within public sector organizations to assess their cybersecurity requirements.
- Build and expand a robust IT channel partner network to ensure sustained success within the region.
- Initiate outreach campaigns through personalized cold calls, emails, and networking to generate qualified sales leads.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Sales, Marketing, and Partner Management to align go-to-market strategies and nurture leads effectively.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting and update CRM systems regularly.
- Position Group-IB as a trusted advisor in cybersecurity by applying a consultative sales approach and demonstrating deep understanding of client challenges.
Candidate Profile
- Proven success in business development targeting ACT and Australian Federal Government clients.
- Strong familiarity with regional market dynamics and government procurement processes.
- In-depth knowledge of indirect sales strategies and channel ecosystem development within the ANZ region.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, capable of influencing technical and executive audiences.
- Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience in cybersecurity, technology, or systems integration.
- Genuine enthusiasm for cybersecurity and emerging technologies.
