Job description

About Palm and Role Overview

Palm is an early-stage, well-funded fintech startup focusing on directing global financial flows within corporate treasuries. We collaborate with leading enterprises worldwide and are eager to expand our team by hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) specializing in outbound enterprise sales.

If you are passionate about crafting engaging messages that capture CFO attention, building outbound strategies from the ground up, and collaborating directly with founders on go-to-market (GTM) initiatives, this position offers a unique opportunity.

Sales Team and Responsibilities

Currently, Palm’s sales function is led by the founders and trusted advisors, with plans to onboard the first Account Executive (AE). This role is pivotal in establishing pipeline creation and opening doors to global enterprise accounts where no prior conversations exist.

The BDR will focus on researching finance teams in large enterprises, devising tailored outreach through calls, emails, and LinkedIn that connect with CFOs and treasurers, securing valuable meetings for founders and AEs, experimenting with outbound channels and messaging, and participating in industry events across Europe and the UK to build customer relationships. Additionally, you will contribute to developing Palm’s outbound sales playbook to scale future pipeline efforts.

Core Sales Principles at Palm

  • Lead with Curiosity: Constantly test, iterate, and adapt strategies.
  • Speak with Courage: Maintain fast, honest feedback loops.
  • Work with Heart: Persist through challenging CFO outreach and embrace the hard work.

Work Environment

Palm operates as a remote-first company with employees across Europe, offering flexibility and the belief that the best outcomes occur outside traditional offices. The sales team, especially the founding members, will collaborate regularly in person to design processes and foster mutual support while accommodating flexible arrangements.
