Role Overview
The Business Operations Coordinator is tasked with overseeing and managing business operations to ensure alignment with both customer expectations and SOLV Energy’s objectives. This position operates fully remotely, with specific location details to be discussed during the interview.
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize safety by promoting and enforcing safe work practices among all employees.
- Support Service Managers in daily coordination and management of operational activities.
- Oversee operations to meet client demands and company goals effectively.
- Serve as the liaison between customers and management to facilitate seamless operations.
- Coordinate project tasks to ensure timely delivery within budget constraints.
- Guarantee compliance with company standards and procedures.
- Develop and nurture strong customer relationships through regular communication and meetings.
- Lead and document internal project meetings, including writing meeting minutes.
- Participate in and record external project meetings.
- Manage and resolve multiple high-priority project issues promptly.
- Assess operational performance and propose strategic improvements.
- Guide internal teams with direction to meet performance targets.
- Identify operational process challenges and resolve them swiftly.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures for efficient operations.
- Maintain organized, accurate operational documentation and procedures for reference.
- Perform essential administrative tasks.
- Establish and maintain a project filing system.
- Code vendor invoices correctly and verify their accuracy.
- Prepare and document extra work orders.
- Notify subcontractors of change orders and follow up accordingly.
- Prepare subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Assist Service Managers with monthly profitability reviews and collaborate to achieve financial goals.
- Track CMMS work orders, assess for completion, and approve/reject for invoicing.
- Create invoices for Project Manager review and approval before submission to owners.
- Recommend process enhancements, collaborate on adopting new technologies, and coordinate with management for implementation.
- Champion diversity and inclusion as an integral part of company culture.

- Compliance with company policies and Corporate Procedures Manual.
- Maintenance of current and standardized job-site documentation.
- Accurate and timely preparation of extra work orders, subcontracts, purchase orders, and status tracking.

Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing contracts and change orders.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic proficiency with ERP systems.
- Capable of exercising independent judgement and proactive self-initiation.
- Ability to promote teamwork and collaboration across teams.
- Prior experience in a diverse, employee-owned, multidisciplinary company is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $60,632 to $75,732.80 annually.
