About The Opportunity And Responsibilities
Inkomoko is seeking a Business Process Analyst to play a pivotal role in our organizational transformation and ERP implementation. This position is crucial for analyzing, documenting, standardizing, and enhancing business processes across key functional areas. The analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders to drive operational excellence, ensure ERP readiness, and implement scalable business practices that support Inkomoko's expansion. This role reports to the Head of IT Projects and is open to candidates located in Chad, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, or South Sudan.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Process Analysis, Design & Optimization: Lead the comprehensive analysis, documentation, and redesign of end-to-end business processes within Finance, Operations, HR, Procurement, and Program Delivery. Develop detailed 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' process maps adhering to BPMN 2.0 standards. Identify and address process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and control gaps to enhance operational excellence and scalability. Support reengineering and automation initiatives.
- ERP Transformation & Business Requirements Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders and project teams to translate operational needs into functional business requirements for the ERP system. Ensure alignment between business processes, ERP capabilities, and organizational goals. Assist in ERP design workshops, process validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and implementation activities. Drive process standardization to facilitate successful ERP adoption.
- Stakeholder Engagement, Change Management & Adoption: Facilitate workshops and cross-functional sessions to gather requirements and drive process improvements. Cultivate strong interdepartmental relationships to foster collaboration and secure stakeholder buy-in. Support change management, communication, training, and adoption strategies for process and system transformations. Monitor new process adoption and implement corrective actions for sustained change.
- Process Governance, Risk & Compliance: Establish and maintain process governance frameworks, controls, standards, and documentation. Ensure processes comply with organizational policies, donor requirements, audit standards, and regulations. Support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of operational and process-related risks, working closely with Finance, Compliance, and Internal Audit.
- Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement: Define and track process Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and operational benchmarks. Analyze and report on process performance, improvement initiatives, and outcomes. Develop data-driven reports and dashboards to inform decision-making. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Requirements
Who We Are Looking For:
- Required Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business process analysis, process improvement, ERP implementation support, or operational transformation. Proven experience with process mapping and documentation using BPMN 2.0. Experience in cross-functional operational or systems implementation projects. Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving capabilities. Experience with operational excellence and process governance.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience within NGOs, social enterprises, consulting firms, or multi-country organizations. Familiarity with ERP systems like Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle NetSuite, or SAP. Certifications such as BPM, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, ABPMP, CBAP, or PMI-PBA are advantageous. Exposure to workflow automation, systems integration, or digital transformation. Experience supporting Finance, Procurement, HR, or Operations process transformations. Experience leading business process reengineering and ERP harmonization in multi-country settings.
