Role Summary
The Camp Supervisor supports daily operations of labor accommodation facilities, ensuring compliance with safety rules, maintaining workers' welfare, coordinating transportation, managing assets, and upholding AMANA's minimum accommodation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with internal and external health, safety, and security regulations and report violations promptly.
- Identify and mitigate safety hazards, continually seeking improvements in safety and environmental practices.
- Inform all camp residents of emergency contacts for fire, police, and ambulance services.
- Promote safety and environmental awareness regularly within the camp community.
- Assist in orienting new employees alongside the Camp Boss.
- Participate in labor committee meetings and contribute actionable suggestions.
- Maintain a harmonious and fair environment respecting the diversity of workers.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair of technical equipment with suppliers.
- Prepare and update periodic reports accurately and on time.
- Oversee waste disposal and upkeep of facilities such as electrical appliances and air conditioning.
- Document and oversee labor transfers between camps.
- Manage PPE inventory, ensuring distribution meets company standards.
- Facilitate transportation logistics for workers between camp and job sites.
- Record and report daily worker attendance within the camp.
- Maintain updated inventory of camp assets.
- Ensure the camp complies with AMANA Minimum Accommodation Standards, including safety, security, cleanliness, and maintenance.
- Manage interactions with non-staff in the camp, enforcing company policies, orientations, and communications.
- Allocate rooms according to company policy and legal guidelines.
- Report disciplinary violations to the Camp Lead with proper documentation.
- Respond promptly and effectively to facility emergencies.
- Monitor utility usage and maintenance expenditures to stay within budget.
- Verify that all camp residents meet company housing procedures and legal requirements.
- Demonstrate fairness, dignity, and respect toward all workers, valuing diversity.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Between 1 and 3 years of camp supervision experience, preferably in construction.
- Certifications like OSHA or NEBOSH are advantageous.
- Sound knowledge of camp operations, accommodation standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong abilities in planning, organizing, communication, and report writing.
- Detail-focused, proactive, and able to professionally collaborate with diverse teams.
- Candidate must be a Saudi national.
