Role Responsibilities

• Develop detailed CCTV and security system layouts, schematics, and technical drawings aligned with project demands, site surveys, and engineering guidelines.
• Create and update CAD designs, including as-built documentation.
• Coordinate with project engineers and site personnel to ensure designs meet company standards and local regulations.
• Review technical specifications and ensure seamless integration of CCTV systems with other ELV installations.
• Support tender processes by providing accurate drawings and material estimations.
• Assist in resolving design-related challenges during installation phases and update drawings to reflect scope or site changes quickly.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, with experience producing CCTV and ELV system drawings.
• Sound understanding of CCTV components including IP and analog camera setups, cable routing, network topologies, and integration with NVRs and storage devices.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans; prepare accurate as-built documentation.
• Detail-oriented with skills to perform basic calculations related to cable lengths, coverage, and equipment quantities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with engineers, project managers, and on-site technicians and handle design revisions promptly.
• Diploma or degree in engineering, drafting, or relevant technical discipline.
• Previous experience working as a CCTV or ELV draftsman, preferably involving projects in Qatar or the GCC region.
• Familiarity with pertinent standards, local authority requirements including SSD and MOI, and compliance with ISO quality processes.
• Strong organizational capabilities with multitasking and deadline management aptitude.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Doha, Qatar. Candidates with prior regional experience and knowledge of local certifications have an advantage.
