About the Role
This is a remote, full-time permanent opening in the United Kingdom for a customer-oriented Chat Support Agent. The position is being hired for a client and is designed as a strong entry-level opportunity with complete training included. It is well suited to graduates, people changing careers, and applicants with backgrounds in retail, hospitality, administration, or customer service.
What You’ll Do
- Handle customer questions through live chat and online messaging channels.
- Share clear and accurate details about products and services.
- Deal with customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Pass more complex cases to the relevant team when needed.
- Keep customer information up to date in CRM systems.
- Process service requests and amend account information where required.
- Coordinate with other internal teams to help close customer enquiries.
- Maintain strong service standards while working to response-time targets.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate should have strong written communication and typing ability, a good eye for detail, and a confident, professional approach. You should be comfortable working with computers and online tools, able to juggle multiple tasks in a busy environment, and have a positive, empathetic manner. Prior experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, administration, or a contact centre would be useful, but no previous chat support experience is needed because full training will be provided.
