Civil Execution Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a diligent Civil Execution Engineer to oversee and manage the execution of various civil engineering works on-site. This role is crucial for ensuring that all construction activities align with approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality benchmarks. You will be responsible for supervising subcontractors and labor, monitoring progress, and ensuring the efficient use of resources.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of diverse civil engineering tasks, including earthwork, substructure, superstructure, and finishing works, strictly adhering to approved drawings and technical specifications.
• Manage and direct subcontractors and site workforce to ensure compliance with project schedules and established quality standards.
• Track daily site progress, promptly identify and report any delays or emerging issues to management.
• Ensure the timely procurement and optimal utilization of necessary materials, manpower, and equipment.
• Conduct thorough inspections of all civil works, encompassing shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, brickwork, and plastering.
• Maintain comprehensive site documentation, including Daily Progress Reports (DPR), inspection checklists, and material reconciliation records.
• Collaborate with QA/QC teams for inspections and with HSE departments to enforce safe working practices.
• Assist in the preparation of Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), joint measurements, and processing contractor bills.
• Address and resolve technical challenges in collaboration with design and engineering teams.
• Guarantee adherence to all relevant codes, client specifications, and safety regulations.
