Work Schedule and Location

This role is based in Washington State within the Transit Pool and involves a part-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, totaling 25 hours weekly. The position is long-term temporary and requires working onsite.

Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable and meticulous Claims Assistant to join our claims department. This role focuses on administrative tasks and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-moving environment. Candidates should possess solid computer proficiency and a commitment to quality service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Handle incoming calls professionally, assisting claimants courteously.
Provide claim updates and respond to inquiries efficiently.
Accurately input and maintain data in the claims management system.
Organize and process claims documentation systematically.
Interact with both internal teams and external customers to facilitate prompt claim processing.
Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and entering data.
Maintain confidentiality and precision when working with sensitive materials.

Required Qualifications

Experience in customer service or administrative roles is essential.
Background in insurance or claims is advantageous but not mandatory.
Proficient computer skills with adaptability to new software and systems.
Competency in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Strong communication skills, both spoken and written.
Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
