Position Overview
We are seeking a Claims Consultant to join our Tauranga office team, reporting directly to the National Claims Manager. This pivotal role involves managing a variety of mobile plant and machinery insurance claims from initiation through to resolution. The successful candidate will work with a high degree of independence, handling claims related to repairs, total loss scenarios, financial recovery, and litigation while assisting customers in minimizing their losses.

Experience and Skill Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in claims or a related sector.
- Heightened attention to detail and strong discipline in managing time effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Previous work experience in the mobile plant and equipment industry or customer service roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with analytics tools and content optimization techniques is beneficial.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with different UAA Group business units.
