Claims Examiner

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled workers' compensation claims examiner to manage and oversee claims involving litigated cases, extended loss time, and complex medical issues. The role is primarily home-based and focuses on working closely with clients to reduce costs and risks while facilitating the return of injured workers to their jobs.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle workers' compensation claims including those that are litigated and involve significant losses.
• Collaborate with clients to control exposure and costs related to claims.
• Assist injured employees in their journey back to work.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least three years of progressive experience managing workers’ compensation claims, specifically with litigated claims and large loss files.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
