Job Overview

This role is for an on-call, remote residential cleaner based in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. While the position allows remote work, candidates must reside within the posted region and be available for occasional in-person attendance at local offices or events as required.

Role Purpose

The cleaning specialist supports various residential service visits throughout Ontario including move-out cleaning, turnover cleaning, post-maintenance deep cleaning, and scheduled housekeeping for occupied homes. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential.

Typical Duties

• Cleaning residential rentals after tenant move-out
• Performing vacant-unit turnover cleaning
• Conducting deep cleaning after repairs, maintenance, or renovations
• Preparing properties before new tenants arrive
• Providing housekeeping services for occupied residences as scheduled
• Cleaning all living spaces including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Detail cleaning such as inside appliances, cabinets, closets, baseboards, and windowsills
• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and debris removal
• Conducting quality walkthroughs prior to finishing each assignment
• Taking job completion photos when requested
• Reporting any damage or maintenance issues identified during cleaning
• Updating assignment statuses using a mobile application
• Travelling directly between assigned residential locations

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of 2 years of paid professional residential cleaning experience
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Experienced in move-out, turnover, deep cleaning, or housekeeping tasks
• Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to high quality work
• Strong communication skills with customers and operations teams
• Responsible for recognizing and reporting maintenance-related issues
• Owns a reliable vehicle, cleaning equipment, and supplies
• Possesses a smartphone capable of GPS, mobile apps, photography, and digital reporting
• Basic English proficiency and dependable attendance
• Good organizational ability

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in residential turnover and move-in/move-out cleaning
• Experience with post-maintenance or renovation cleaning
• Apartment and condominium cleaning
• Working in high-volume residential cleaning environments
