Job description

About the Role

This position entails supervising cleaning operations with working hours from 4.45pm to 8.45pm. The supervisor is responsible for ensuring all cleaning services meet the client's site-specific quality standards and adhere to health and safety guidelines. Managing team administration including rostering and recruitment, maintaining adequate stock levels, and fostering strong client relationships are key components of the role. It also involves frequent communication with staff on safety practices and maintaining a positive safety culture supported by the Group Health and Safety team.

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards as specified by the client and management.
  • Maintain safe and efficient working conditions throughout the site.
  • Identify training and development needs for team members to enhance performance.
  • Manage cleaning teams through scheduling, recruitment, and administrative tasks.
  • Maintain proper stock levels following site specifications.
  • Lead by example in adherence to toolbox talks and company policies.
  • Build and sustain strong working relationships with the client to meet site objectives.
  • Enforce company policies consistently across the team.
  • Communicate effectively regarding safety to support morale and a free exchange of ideas.
  • Uphold and promote the company’s positive safety image.
  • Ensure all subordinates are trained, responsible, and accountable for their own safety.
  • Implement safe work systems and communicate them prior to task commencement.
  • Oversee maintenance and suitability of plant and equipment.
  • Supervise work activities thoroughly to ensure compliance and safety.
