Job Description
As a Client Acquisition Manager at Maybank, you will be instrumental in acquiring high-net-worth individuals for the bank. Your role will involve close collaboration with Relationship Managers (RMs) to deliver comprehensive wealth management services to both new and existing affluent clients. This position is based in Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Engage in sales activities focused on acquiring affluent clients with Assets Under Management (AUM) of $300,000 and above.
- Utilize diverse channels, including internal referrals, tele-prospecting, networking events, and exclusive Privilege events, to identify and secure new clients in Singapore and across regional markets.
- Manage the onboarding process for new client relationships, including account opening procedures.
- Promote a comprehensive range of exclusive depository products and services to expand the bank's revenue streams.
- Collaborate effectively with RMs to strategize and manage client assets, ensuring alignment with client needs and requirements.
- Drive cross-product sales initiatives for all Maybank's offerings.
- Maintain prompt and regular reporting on leads generated, sales activities undertaken, and the status of pipeline cases.
Requirements
- Possess strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities.
- Demonstrate a high level of drive and a capacity to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- Have prior experience or the demonstrated ability to effectively engage with clients from regional markets, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and China.
- Be willing and able to undertake regional travel as necessitated by the role.
