About the Company

A growing biotech organization seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Data Coordinator. This contract role involves facilitating accurate migration, maintenance, and verification of essential business information within internal quality management systems.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional skills in data accuracy, organization, and system administration, with a strong dedication to preserving reliable and compliant records. Precision is prioritized over speed for this role. The position is remote; however, the consultant must reside in New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut and be available to attend onsite meetings in New York City twice per month. This contract spans six months.

Responsibilities

  • Transfer and arrange data from various sources, such as email correspondence and supporting documents, into internal tracking and quality systems.
  • Maintain and update large datasets promptly, ensuring records stay accurate and well-organized.
  • Conduct regular reviews to verify completeness, accuracy, and consistency of data across multiple systems.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, errors, or missing data to uphold data quality standards.
  • Handle sensitive company and customer data while adhering to privacy, security, and compliance protocols.
  • Support documentation procedures in compliance with quality management standards.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in data entry, document control, administrative support, quality systems, or related roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, especially Excel, along with experience using cloud-based platforms.
  • Exceptional typing speed (preferably 85 to 100 words per minute) with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational abilities to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Capability to identify issues, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve problems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to gather information and clarify documentation needs across teams.
