Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer responsible for managing cloud-related operations including provisioning and configuring cloud resources in alignment with technical architecture designs and security protocols. This role demands adherence to well-architected framework principles throughout all cloud deployments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare technical documentation, diagrams, how-to manuals, and other deliverables.
  • Design, develop, and deploy highly available, multi-region solutions on Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
  • Evaluate and enhance current operational standards, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Lead migration of existing infrastructure services to cloud platforms.
  • Handle security protocols and access control for cloud-based environments.
  • Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) utilizing cloud-native tools to automate and standardize deployments.
  • Implement policy-driven data protection strategies to safeguard cloud assets from data loss.
  • Support modernization and transformation of applications for cloud adoption.
  • Ensure performance and capacity of infrastructure components meet organizational standards.
  • Participate actively in a 24/7 on-call rotation to promptly address technical escalations.
  • Utilize cloud configuration tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible to manage deployments.
  • Monitor system stability, deployment activities, and performance via event logs and metrics; experienced with Azure Log Analytics and Elasticsearch.
  • Communicate effectively, produce clear technical documentation, and collaborate well with team members to meet deadlines.
  • Stay current with professional and technical knowledge through workshops, literature, networking, and association involvement.
  • Maintain confidentiality to protect operational integrity.
  • Demonstrate ownership and pride in individual and company success.
  • Exhibit critical thinking, problem-solving aptitude, and solid time management.
  • Support colleagues by helping diagnose and resolve software defects.
  • Work collectively within the team to achieve shared goals.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Singapore.
