About the Role

GardaWorld Cash Services is seeking a dedicated Coin Room Processor to join our team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with prior cash handling experience who are looking for a stable role within an international security company. What You Will Be Doing

• Conduct comprehensive verification of coin deposits, ensuring accuracy against customer declaration slips.
• Reconcile received coin bags with manifest records to confirm all deposits are accounted for.
• Physically manage coin bags, which may involve bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and standing for extended periods.
• Input verified coin data into the tracking system and communicate deposit totals to supervisors and clients.
• Utilize a jet scan machine for sorting coins by denomination and verifying customer deposits.
• Adhere strictly to GardaWorld's policies and security regulations.
• Meet established departmental productivity benchmarks.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For

• Dependable transportation to and from the worksite is essential.
• Must possess and wear steel-toe shoes for the role.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts based on operational requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general MS Office applications.
• A strong commitment to safe work practices.
• Demonstrated reliability, conscientiousness, and a sense of responsibility.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
