The Wright Group is preparing to open a new venue in Kildare Village and is hiring a Commis Chef to join the kitchen team. This position suits someone who thrives in a busy, energetic food service environment and is motivated to learn and grow.

Experience and knowledge

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar kitchen role is required. Applicants should already understand food hygiene practices and HACCP standards; additional training will be provided after joining.

Key responsibilities

• Support the head chef in managing day-to-day kitchen operations
• Keep HACCP controls and cleanliness standards under close supervision
• Help ensure the menu is prepared and presented to a consistently high standard
• Work efficiently and stay composed when the kitchen is under pressure
• Communicate clearly in English and work well with the wider team
• Contribute to a strong customer service experience through quality food delivery
• Handle multiple tasks smoothly in a fast-moving kitchen setting
