Overview

The Town of Peace River seeks a dynamic and personable Communications Coordinator to enhance and share the community's story, fostering a positive public image of the municipality, its elected officials, and staff. This role involves driving engagement through public relations, content creation, and managing internal communications.

Key Responsibilities

The Communications Coordinator will collaborate with external communication and marketing experts to develop and oversee effective communication strategies for both internal and external audiences. The position requires crafting stories through various channels including traditional and digital media, the Town's website, as well as creating visual content like videos and photography.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, permanent role based in Peace River, Alberta. Work hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evenings and weekends as needed. The salary range for this position is $77,565 to $85,836 annually. The position remains open until a suitable candidate is selected.
