Role Overview
The Communications Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the Education & Advancement sector by crafting and executing both internal and external communication strategies. This position focuses on producing well-crafted communication materials, executive presentations, detailed reports, digital content, and branding elements that enhance stakeholder interaction while ensuring adherence to the organization's communication policies and brand guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Compose, revise, and proofread a variety of communication documents including emails, newsletters, reports, presentations, website content, and announcements for both internal and external audiences.
- Assist in the development and rollout of communication campaigns and strategic messaging initiatives throughout the department.
- Design executive-level presentation decks, briefing documents, reports, and visual content employing PowerPoint, Canva, and other graphic design software.
- Create compelling narrative content that highlights the organization’s projects, programs, and successes.
- Liaise with internal teams to collect data, verify content integrity, and guarantee consistent messaging across all communication platforms.
- Work alongside branding and design teams as well as external suppliers to produce communication collateral that meets quality and branding benchmarks.
- Support event communication and branding efforts, including crafting presentations, invitations, digital materials, signage, and promotional content.
- Manage communication schedules, maintain project trackers, and monitor deadlines to ensure on-time completion of communication-related tasks.
- Ensure all communications reflect corporate branding standards and uphold top quality, professionalism, and consistency.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- A minimum of four years' professional experience in corporate communications, marketing, public relations, or similar roles.
- Outstanding writing, verbal communication, editing, and proofreading capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Canva for the creation of executive-level presentations and visual collateral.
- Familiarity with corporate branding principles, visual identity protocols, and the latest digital communication methodologies.
- Experience in producing communication content tailored for leadership teams, stakeholders, and various internal and external audiences.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities, capable of handling multiple concurrent priorities and meeting deadlines effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement experience, ensuring successful cross-departmental collaborations.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools; experience with Adobe Creative Suite and content management systems is a notable plus.

This position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia and requires full-time onsite engagement.
