Job description
Job Summary
This role involves delivering comprehensive computer science instruction to students from Classes 1 through 12, including both theoretical and practical learning experiences. The teacher will cover computer basics, applications of MS Office, internet usage, and digital literacy, equipping students with foundational and advanced computing skills.
Teaching Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging lessons on computer fundamentals and programming for various grade levels.
- Instruct students in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, HTML, CSS, SQL, and MySQL, particularly focusing on Classes 11 and 12 as per curriculum guidelines.
- Conduct hands-on practical sessions within the computer lab to reinforce theoretical concepts.
- Create lesson plans, assignments, practical exercises, and exam papers to evaluate learning progress.
- Assess student progress through projects, practical tests, and examinations.
- Manage and maintain computer laboratory equipment to ensure optimal functionality and responsible use.
- Promote awareness of cyber safety and encourage ethical technology use among students.
- Assist students in coding projects, troubleshooting, and problem-solving techniques.
Administrative and Collaborative Duties
- Keep accurate academic records and submit timely reports concerning student performance.
- Engage actively in school functions, meetings, and professional growth opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and parents to enhance student educational outcomes.
Qualifications & Eligibility
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Holding a B.Ed. credential is advantageous.
- Demonstrate solid proficiency in various programming languages and applications.
- Exhibit effective communication and classroom management skills.

Compensation
The monthly remuneration for this position ranges between INR 10,000 and INR 12,000.
