Job description

Role Overview

Cairn seeks a Construction Management Graduate or Construction Planning Engineer to support the Construction Planner by contributing to the delivery of construction services. This position entails collaboration with both the construction planning team and project site personnel to establish and maintain construction schedules and programmes across projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in crafting the master construction programme spanning all Cairn projects, from conception through to handover, across every Gateway phase.
  • Maintain, review, and update detailed construction schedules by providing precise and timely information.
  • Contribute to development of phasing plans and strategies for handover.
  • Implement and enforce project control procedures effectively.
  • Support monitoring of programme progress and reporting activities.
  • Coordinate with project site teams and departments including Sales, Design, and Commercial.
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary Project Teams.

Candidate Profile

  • Holds a third level qualification in Construction Management or a related Engineering field.
  • Possesses a full, clean driver's license.
  • Demonstrates strong ability to meet strict deadlines and quality standards.
  • Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, methodical, and precise in work approach.
  • Proficient in teamwork and capable of engaging with professionals at various levels.
  • Self-driven with the aptitude to work independently.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Accepts responsibility to complete assigned duties reliably.
