Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed construction schedules from tender phase through project completion.
• Collaborate with project managers, site personnel, estimators, and design teams to keep plans coordinated.
• Track site progress and revise programmes to reflect real-time activity.
• Spot schedule risks, delays, and knock-on impacts, then suggest practical ways to reduce them.
• Prepare short-range and longer-range lookahead plans.
• Contribute to tender bids by producing preliminary programmes and delivery methods.
• Review drawings, technical specifications, and subcontractor work packages.
• Attend project meetings and provide planning-related updates.
• Support resource planning, work sequencing, and site logistics.
• Prepare progress reports, programme revisions, and critical path reviews.
• Keep all programmes consistent with contractual obligations and project delivery needs.

Candidate profile

• Proven background in construction planning, ideally with main contractor experience.
• Strong ability to organise work, interpret information, and analyse schedules.
• Confident communicator with solid stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable handling several project programmes at the same time.
• Detail-focused, proactive, and able to solve problems effectively.
