About the Role
This position involves implementing and configuring SAP Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS) solutions tailored to manufacturing and production requirements. The consultant will collaborate closely with various teams to design effective SAP PPDS configurations that meet business demands, oversee testing phases, and support deployment and go-live activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy SAP PPDS modules by designing and configuring system setups for production planning and scheduling.
- Engage in mapping business needs to PPDS functional capabilities, contributing to solution design.
- Coordinate and support testing processes including unit and integration testing, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
- Prepare and manage master data, assist in data readiness and support cutover activities during PPDS implementation.
- Work collaboratively across departments to align processes and deliver enhancements effectively.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess 4 to 10 years of direct experience with SAP implementation projects involving PPDS.
- Strong proficiency in SAP PPDS configuration, testing, and deployment tasks.
- Experience with SAP APO is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field or comparable experience.
