Role Summary
This full-time, on-site position is for a Content Writer based in Port Harcourt. The person in this role will produce clear, engaging written material for websites, blogs, social media, and marketing collateral while keeping the tone aligned with brand goals. The job also involves researching topics and audiences, drafting and polishing copy, and maintaining accuracy, consistency, and quality across all content.
Key Duties
You will work with designers, marketers, and other colleagues to support campaigns and broader communication initiatives. The role requires meeting deadlines, responding to feedback, and adjusting content based on performance insights.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have strong web writing ability and general writing skills for digital and marketing content. You should be able to shape and execute a content approach that supports brand and business goals, carry out research effectively, and proofread carefully for grammar, spelling, and style consistency.
A bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, or a closely related discipline is preferred. Candidates should also be able to handle multiple tasks, deliver work on time, collaborate well in a team, and communicate clearly in writing and speaking. Experience with SEO practices and content management systems will be an added advantage, along with a willingness to learn and improve based on feedback.
