About the Role
The Navodaya Institute of Technology located in Raichur, Karnataka, requires an experienced and detail-oriented Controller of Examinations (CoE) to supervise and manage all examination-related operations. The chosen individual will be responsible for upholding confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity throughout the examination lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and facilitate various examinations including internal, semester-end, supplementary, and autonomous tests.
- Ensure examinations are carried out fairly, smoothly, and transparently according to academic policies.
- Oversee confidential tasks such as question paper preparation, printing, secure storage, and distribution.
- Supervise the evaluation of answer scripts ensuring timely announcement of results.
- Coordinate with departmental heads, faculty, and university officials regarding examination matters.
- Manage hall tickets, schedules, grade sheets, and maintain student academic documentation.
- Address grievances related to exams, handle malpractice incidents, manage revaluation and backlog exam processes.
- Ensure compliance with guidelines of autonomous and university examination authorities.
- Facilitate enhancements in examination management systems and academic administrative workflows.

Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university; preference for candidates with a Ph.D. in Engineering, Technology, or Management.
- At least 10 to 15 years of teaching experience in an AICTE-approved institute, with 3 to 5 years actively involved in examination cell administration in roles such as Controller of Examinations or Deputy/Assistant CoE.
- Exemplary integrity, analytical aptitude, expertise in examination automation software, and thorough understanding of regulatory policies.
