About the Role
This opportunity is with Mercor, a company that connects high-caliber creative and technical professionals with top AI research organizations. The position is for a Generalist Expert working remotely on a contract basis, with compensation set at $70 per hour.
What You Will Do
- Assess AI-generated answers for factual accuracy and the quality of reasoning behind them.
- Deliver organized written critiques that help improve model output.
- Spot hidden assumptions, subtle meanings, and missing logic in AI-produced content.
- Draft concise, specific, and evidence-based explanations rather than broad comments.
- Operate independently in an asynchronous setup and complete work within deadlines.
Qualifications
Applicants should have strong analytical ability, excellent written communication, and the discipline to follow detailed task instructions without close supervision. Strong critical reading skills are important, and native-level English fluency is required. A bachelor’s degree from a globally top-500 ranked university is preferred.
