About the Role

The position involves hosting and actively engaging in a range of shipboard recreational, social, and entertainment programs designed for adults and families. Serving as the master of ceremonies, you will energize, inform, and entertain guests throughout their cruise journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in onboard recreational and entertainment activities.
• Act as the master of ceremonies for both small and large groups, motivating and engaging guests.

Qualifications and Skills

• Completion of high school or equivalent is mandatory.
• Preferred: Degree in theater, performance, or dance from a college or university.
• Minimum of two years of professional experience as a master of ceremonies or entertainer in theater, music, dance, comedy, or within resorts, cruise lines, or recreational industries.
• Preferred ability to offer a unique skill or specialty class as part of activity planning.
• Proficient with microphone use, capable of holding audience attention courteously and effectively.
• Experience providing instruction to large groups.
• Strong customer service aptitude, applying authority and diplomacy aligned with Royal Caribbean's service standards "The Royal Way."
• Competent computer user with experience navigating basic software and internet applications.
