FLOW.NG offers products such as FLOW Plus, a school-based SEL curriculum, transition support programs for major academic stages, and the EMO Game, which helps children recognize and express emotions through play.
Role Summary
This role is a full-time position based in Lagos with a hybrid work arrangement. The Curriculum Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and continuously refining FLOW's social-emotional learning curriculum and related educational content across digital and in-person learning formats. The role requires close collaboration with educators and product teams to shape content for FLOW Plus and transition programs, while also improving existing materials through feedback, pilot testing, and performance insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Create lesson plans, learning activities, and assessment tools for SEL programs.
- Design and improve curriculum content for both digital and face-to-face learning experiences.
- Work with educators and product teams to integrate learning materials into FLOW Plus and transition offerings.
- Adapt content so it fits different learning settings and audience needs.
- Review existing resources and revise them based on user feedback and learning outcomes.
- Ensure all content is age-appropriate, inclusive, and engaging for learners.
- Take part in pilot testing and use findings to improve curriculum quality and learner experience.
Required Qualifications
- Solid background in curriculum design and instructional planning for children aged 7 to 18.
- Strong writing and communication ability for producing clear, engaging educational materials.
- Ability to research and apply evidence-based child development and learning practices.
- Experience in social-emotional learning, child development, or education, preferably in primary or lower secondary school environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Psychology, Psychology, Curriculum & Instruction, Child Development, or a related discipline.
- Capability to work with cross-functional teams, juggle multiple priorities, and deliver on deadlines in a hybrid setup.
- Understanding of play-based learning, experiential learning, and assessment methods.
- Exposure to digital learning platforms, AI-enabled education, or gamified learning is an added benefit.
- Strong interest in improving learning outcomes for children and young people.
