About the role

In this position, you will bring a strong interest in sales, an understanding of online media, and a commitment to helping customers succeed. You will develop trusted customer relationships, identify business needs, and turn those needs into effective solutions that support ambitious growth goals. Partnering with sellers, you will help shape the future of advertising in the AI era while contributing to meaningful results for millions of businesses and users who rely on Google.

Google Customer Solutions sales teams serve as advisors and competitive sellers focused on customer success, especially for small and medium-sized businesses. In this role, you will work closely with business owners, help them improve their results, and support innovation for customers, partners, and sales teams.

Minimum qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for client meetings and training when required.

Preferred qualifications

  • A master’s degree in a business-related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales or consulting.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a portfolio of new customers and help position them for lasting success in their digital advertising journey with Google.
  • Meet assigned customer targets while ensuring the onboarding process is smooth, timely, and positive.
  • Coordinate closely with Sales, Product, and Program teams to create a seamless transition for customers.
  • Proactively engage customers to support onboarding, along with upselling and cross-selling Google solutions and platforms.
  • Communicate regularly by phone, chat, and email, and provide consultative guidance that helps advertisers maximize return on investment and build long-term strategies.
