Role Overview

The Customer Service Representative serves as the face of the parts department, playing a crucial role in maintaining strong relationships with customers. This position requires managing customer interactions in-person, by phone, and through written communication, ensuring their parts needs are met efficiently and accurately using parts software.

Responsibilities

  • Engage professionally with customers to understand and fulfill their parts requirements through multiple communication channels.
  • Offer ongoing support to farmers year-round to keep their equipment operational.
  • Build and nurture customer relationships to enhance service quality.
  • Contribute to inventory management and maintain a professional retail environment.
  • Adapt to a cyclical work schedule requiring extended hours during peak farming seasons, including evenings, weekends, and participating in an on-call rotation.

Qualifications

  • Two to three years of experience in customer-facing or retail roles.
  • A customer service approach focused on building relationships and a genuine motivation to assist others.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency with computer applications.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities with creativity in finding solutions.
  • A mechanical understanding or farming background is advantageous.
