About the Role
Join a renowned FMCG company with a strong presence in New Zealand distributing popular products. This role offers the chance to be a key member of the New Zealand country leadership team, interfacing both with major supermarket customers and internal commercial, business, and ANZ supply chain teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Demand and Customer Integrated Supply Planning (ISP) team.
- Enhance operational efficiency by optimizing daily decision-making processes.
- Provide leadership and development guidance to a team of 10 members.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing customer logistics, demand planning skills with a preference for Integrated Business Planning (IBP) expertise, and solid knowledge of warehousing and managing third-party logistics providers (3PLs). You should be capable of strategic thinking as well as supporting the team hands-on.
- Expertise in customer management within developed market environments.
- Strong background in demand and supply planning, supply chain management including warehousing and domestic/international freight.
- Excellent communication, prioritization skills, and ability to deliver against diverse KPIs.
- Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end supply chain factors and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary supply chain teams, fostering capability growth and a performance-driven culture.
