Role Overview

This position is a 12-month contract engagement where the Data Analyst will play a critical role in interpreting complex data analytics into clear, actionable insights that directly support brand strategy and influence executive decision-making. Operating remotely with an expectation to align with Eastern Standard Time hours, the analyst will design, develop, and maintain dynamic dashboards, conduct in-depth analyses, and monitor performance metrics across product portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create compelling data-driven narratives that underpin brand strategies and executive decisions.
  • Design, implement, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to effectively monitor brand and portfolio metrics.
  • Refine and update visualizations responsive to evolving business requirements.
  • Perform detailed analytical studies to aid new product launches and optimize existing brands.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators across diverse asset portfolios.
  • Identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities to guide strategic planning.
  • Manage and liaise with external analytics vendors to ensure delivery of quality, timely outputs.
  • Collaborate with patient affordability, field reimbursement management, payer, and specialty pharmacy operations teams to enhance access strategies.
  • Guarantee the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across reporting platforms and tools.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments, competitive intelligence, and new analytical techniques.

Required Qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience in pharmaceutical data science, brand analytics, or commercial analytics with at least two years within pharmaceutical or life sciences sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Preferred experience in patient access and reimbursement analytics.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of specialty pharmacy data and analytics, including patient-level and claim data such as CoverMyMeds or IQVIA LAAD claim data.
  • Strong familiarity with pharmaceutical data sources such as IQVIA, Symphony, Komodo, claims, and specialty pharmacy information.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and analysis tools including Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SQL, Python, and SAS.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and analytical storytelling capabilities.
  • Proven ability to convert data insights into meaningful business outcomes.
  • Experience working effectively in a dynamic, complex organizational environment.
  • Experience in nephrology, rare diseases, or specialty pharmacy distribution is an advantage.
