Data Analyst (Entry / Junior)

Role Overview

This position is a part-time, hybrid Data Analyst role based in Sydney, New South Wales. The individual will contribute to collecting, cleaning, and organizing data pertinent to medical technologies and health services. Daily responsibilities include carrying out fundamental data analyses, preparing clear reports, and creating data visualizations to aid business and product strategy decisions.

Key Duties

• Assist in performing basic data analyses and generating regular reports.
• Prepare visualizations to effectively communicate data insights.
• Support data modeling efforts and perform validation to ensure data accuracy.
• Maintain dashboards and document analytical methodologies.
• Collaborate across teams to clearly communicate findings and contribute to ongoing improvements in data workflows.

Candidate Qualifications

• Strong analytical aptitude with foundational skills in data analytics.
• Basic understanding of statistics and data modeling techniques.
• Effective and professional communication skills to present data insights clearly.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets and data tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, or Python/R is advantageous.
• Educational background in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Ability to efficiently manage part-time working hours and work in a hybrid setup based in Sydney.
• Interest and enthusiasm for healthcare and medical technology innovation, with readiness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
