Role Overview

This role involves foundational data analysis and reporting duties supporting ORIS metrics, readiness monitoring, and operational dashboards within health IT settings. The analyst conducts requirements gathering, information modeling, and process documentation essential for clinical informatics software development and related projects. Working with minimal supervision, the position requires independent task management.

Primary Duties

  • Collect, clean, and analyze data related to issue trends, training effectiveness, and readiness metrics.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of dashboards used in weekly and monthly reporting cycles.
  • Assist in preparing data packages supporting the Informatics Surge Readiness Index.
  • Document definitions and logic for data reports to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Respond to ad-hoc analytical requests from program management, clinical informaticists, and data administration teams.
  • Support data governance activities, maintaining or enhancing data quality and integrity.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least four years of focused experience in requirements analysis, data interpretation, or health IT documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Excel, Power BI, or similar analytic tools.
  • Familiarity with clinical or operational healthcare data, especially Federal Electronic Health Records (EHR).
  • Strong attention to detail and capability to manage incomplete or frequently changing data sets.
