About the Role
Conexess Group is collaborating with a leading healthcare client to fill a Data Analyst position. This contract role offers a long-term engagement accompanied by a competitive salary package. The position is based in Nashville, TN, requiring a hybrid work arrangement.
Please be aware that sponsorships or C2C arrangements are not supported for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and analyze data definitions, their meanings, usage, labeling standards, and other related source system information to generate IT-ready datasets.
- Conduct data analysis and create ad hoc reports.
- Manage and maintain the reporting processes effectively.
- Gather reporting requirements, set clear expectations, and develop corresponding reports.
- Generate reports on SLA and performance metrics.
- Engage in troubleshooting production issues, conducting ad hoc research, and following up on related activities.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Create documentation to support efficiency improvements and process optimization.
- Adapt efficiently to dynamic business needs and shifting priorities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in application development and/or project management.
- Familiarity with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and file exchange implementations.
- Proficiency in SQL development and support.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau.
Preferred Skills and Attributes
- In-depth understanding of Medicare and Medicaid, particularly related to Claims and Encounters.
- Experience working within agile and matrix organizational structures.
- Capability to operate effectively as both an individual contributor and as part of a team.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, and documentation abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
