Job description
Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst proficient in SQL Server and data modeling to join our team in Toronto, ON. This hybrid role involves working onsite four days a week, focused on leveraging both relational and non-relational database technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Expertly write and maintain complex SQL queries across relational and NoSQL environments.
- Analyze business needs alongside current operational workflows to derive precise IT system requirements.
- Develop and maintain data models, including schemas, data mapping, and transformation processes to support data analysis initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively across departments, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Candidate Experience and Skills
- 8 to 10 years of experience working with SQL Server and NoSQL databases.
- Deep understanding of data modeling concepts and implementation within enterprise environments.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications clearly and precisely.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and communicating complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.
