Position Summary

Impact Scale is looking to hire a meticulous and analytical Data Analyst to aid business operations by collecting, interpreting, and scrutinizing data to enable informed decisions. The successful candidate will possess experience in handling data, recognizing patterns, preparing reports, and delivering practical insights that enhance business outcomes and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Aggregate and interpret data from various sources to detect trends and identify business opportunities.
  • Create and upkeep reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for company leadership and internal teams.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular performance reports.
  • Communicate findings and suggestions clearly and effectively for action.
  • Analyze and assess business processes to pinpoint areas for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Undertake research to support strategic planning and operational projects.
  • Help build forecasts, business models, and performance analyses.
  • Provide evidence-based recommendations to aid decisions.
  • Spot workflow inefficiencies and propose process enhancements.
  • Work with cross-departmental teams to implement and supervise operational improvements.
  • Document procedural workflows and industry best practices.
  • Engage with various departments to understand reporting requirements and goals.
  • Support initiatives by collecting requirements, monitoring progress, and analyzing data-driven outcomes.
  • Present analytical insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related disciplines is preferred.
  • Minimum two years of experience in roles such as data analyst, business analyst, or similar analytical positions.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Competence in producing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational aptitude.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities within a dynamic work environment.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or other data query languages is beneficial.
