About the Role and Company

As a Data Analyst on our Federal Sales team, you will play a critical role in demonstrating the effectiveness of our cybersecurity training by analyzing complex datasets and delivering clear, impactful insights to executive stakeholders.
Work Location and Team
- Position is fully remote with preference for candidates on the US East Coast.
- The Data Analyst will collaborate closely with account executives, business development representatives, solutions engineers, customer success, and the Data Engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic consultation to Federal agency stakeholders, transforming security and compliance needs into actionable data solutions aligned with leadership goals.
- Develop ROI models by extracting and analyzing large data sets using SQL and Python, identifying correlations between training engagement and security incident reduction.
- Create interactive dashboards and presentations using Looker and Tableau to communicate ROI to various government levels.
- Conduct in-depth behavioral analyses on user activity and simulation logs to spot high-risk groups and recommend tailored training enhancements.
- Ensure data quality through auditing and prototyping of risk models, supporting client presentations with rapid "what-if" analyses.
- Participate in Executive Business Reviews, managing stakeholder expectations and collaborating with Product and Data Engineering teams to keep platform telemetry updated.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL, preferably BigQuery and Snowflake, for querying complex relational databases.
- Strong Python skills for data cleaning, automation, and statistical analysis.
- Advanced capability in data visualization using Looker or similar tools (Tableau).
- High competency with Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and modeling.
- Exceptional communication skills to clearly and persuasively present technical data to senior leadership.
- Experience crafting cohesive presentation decks that clarify data insights and their impact on risk and mission success.
- Proven stakeholder management abilities across multiple departments.
- Familiarity with customer success metrics such as churn, adoption, engagement funnels, and learning outcomes.
- Experience or interest in EdTech or cybersecurity domains is an advantage.
