Role overview

We are looking for a dependable and accuracy-focused Data Entry Clerk to help keep business records current and well organized. This position involves entering, updating, checking, and maintaining information in company databases and record systems while preserving confidentiality and working efficiently.

What you will do

In this role, you will work with large volumes of information and make sure records remain complete, correct, and easy to access. The work is repetitive at times, but it requires careful handling, strong time management, and consistent quality.

  • Enter new information and update existing records in databases and spreadsheets.
  • Review records to make sure they are complete and accurate.
  • Check that information matches across different sources and systems.
  • Maintain both digital and paper-based files in an organized manner.
  • Prepare routine reports and assist with record-related tasks.
  • Spot inconsistencies, fix errors, and support data cleanup or audit work.
  • Help with general administrative duties when needed.

What we are looking for

The right candidate should be comfortable using office tools, spreadsheets, database software, and digital document systems. Fast and accurate typing, strong computer skills, and the ability to process information carefully are important for success.

Preferred background

A degree or background in Business Administration, Office Administration, Information Management, Management, or a related field is preferred. Prior experience in data entry, clerical work, administrative support, records handling, customer service, or office administration would be an advantage. Experience with reporting tools, workflow systems, database applications, and document processing is also useful.
