Role Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-focused Data Entry Specialist to become part of our team. This role involves accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data across various company systems to ensure that records are complete, well-organized, and easily accessible. Your efforts will directly support the smooth running of daily business activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter data into company databases, spreadsheets, and internal tools.
- Examine documents to verify all necessary information is present before processing.
- Update existing records and correct data entries as required.
- Maintain orderly digital and physical file systems.
- Conduct routine quality checks to spot and remedy data errors.
- Produce reports and gather information upon request from team members or management.
- Handle sensitive information responsibly and discreetly.
- Collaborate with other departments to keep records accurate and current.
- Consistently meet daily and weekly data entry targets while maintaining high quality.
Qualifications
- Minimum education of high school diploma or equivalent; additional training in administrative tasks is advantageous.
- Preferred prior experience in data entry, administrative roles, or similar functions.
- Excellent typing proficiency with strong accuracy.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Experience with databases and data management software is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Capable of managing several tasks concurrently and adhering to deadlines.
