Our fraud risk management group devises advanced, scalable solutions that safeguard customers while ensuring a seamless experience. This team oversees transaction and lifecycle event monitoring, develops alerts for rapid fraud detection and response, and builds machine learning-powered risk rules and strategies. • Design, simulate, and implement real-time risk controls leveraging both real-time and offline predictive machine learning models.
  • Optimize risk controls balancing loss prevention, user friction reduction, and margin enhancement.
  • Collaborate with go-to-market teams to showcase the technical and commercial benefits of fraud risk controls.
  • Communicate complex analytical insights effectively to leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support partners in investigating and addressing fraud concerns impacting their traffic.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in automated fraud risk strategy development, including A/B testing and implementation of real-time and offline predictive ML models.
  • Experience designing, constructing, and maintaining dashboards and metrics related to fraud risk.
  • Capable of navigating ambiguous challenges and developing effective solutions.
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Possession of a relevant quantitative bachelor's or higher degree, such as Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory)

  • Previous experience in high-growth fintech or financial services companies.
  • Familiarity with customer-facing or go-to-market analytics and fraud issue triaging.
  • Background in areas such as identity risk, anti-money laundering, payments fraud, or compliance analytics.
  • Experience with AI-assisted data analysis and data science tools.

Work Environment and Benefits

  • Unlimited vacation policy with a requirement to take at least 10 days off for a balanced lifestyle.
  • Flexible work arrangements allowing remote or office work, supported by a stipend for creating a productive home office.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, vision insurance plans for employees and dependents, plus fully company-funded life insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan featuring a 4% company match.
  • Equity option plan for all employees to share in company success.
