Role overview

This role focuses on building search and recommendation capabilities that support the content team and strengthen the content ecosystem. You will help improve content matching, distribution, and user experience by applying machine learning and personalization approaches in a large-scale environment.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain search and recommendation services and models that enable the content organization and its growth.
• Apply machine-learning personalization techniques, design patterns, and tooling to improve how content is matched and delivered.
• Use a strong understanding of recommendation systems in content settings, along with business insight, to enhance AI products and drive better content and commercial outcomes.
• Build and improve key recommendation components for content using data-led methods that increase content value and user engagement.
• Work closely with content, business, and product teams to uncover needs and opportunities in content use cases, then define and track success measures together.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics, with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience; prior work in content-related roles is preferred.
• Practical, hands-on experience with widely used ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Background in building large-scale applications, ideally in user-facing content products.
• Strong ability to partner across teams and collaborate effectively with global content stakeholders.
• Having publications in leading conferences or journals will be considered an advantage.
