Job description
Role Overview
GSF Car Parts is looking for a Delivery Driver to represent the company in front of customers while making timely deliveries of automotive parts. This role is central to the team, combining reliable delivery work with strong customer service and useful feedback from the field.
You will help support the overall performance of a fast-moving business by maintaining positive customer relationships and promoting the company through every interaction.
Key Duties
- Transport goods to customer locations within a 40-mile radius of the branch.
- Maintain consistently high standards of service when dealing with customers.
- Share relevant information with the branch about customer activity and competitor activity.
- Load the vehicle in line with company procedures.
- Pick up customer returns when needed.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and general maintenance-related checks.
- Support warehouse work when required.
- Assist with transfer deliveries between branches when needed.
Working Pattern
The role is based on an average of 41 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays included.
Candidate Profile
To be successful in this role, you should be a customer-focused driver with good local route knowledge, strong time management, and a willingness to go the extra mile. Prior delivery driving experience is expected, along with the ability to work to deadlines and deliver a high level of service.
