Role Overview
The organization is hiring a detail-focused Design Engineer to join its engineering team in Virar, Maharashtra. The position calls for someone with hands-on design capability and strong coordination across design, production, and vendors.

Experience Needed
Candidates should have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Create machine components, assemblies, and working mechanisms in SolidWorks.
- Develop accurate 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D CAD models.
- Revise and enhance current machine designs to suit production needs and customer requirements.
- Keep design records, drawings, and documentation properly organized.
- Prepare BOMs and technical specifications for manufacturing and execution.
- Work closely with the production team and outside vendors to move projects forward.
- Follow up on processes such as CNC, wire cutting, laser cutting, turning, milling, surface grinding, and sheet metal fabrication.
- Verify fabricated parts against drawings and dimensional requirements.
- Support raw material planning and estimate product costs.
Skills and Software Knowledge
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Practical familiarity with SolidWorks.
- Understanding of machine fabrication and manufacturing workflows.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and apply GD&T concepts.
- Comfort with MS Excel and MS Office tools.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Clear communication and coordination skills.
- Capability to manage more than one project at the same time.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should have a Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or any other specialization specified by the employer, with preference for candidates from machine manufacturing backgrounds.
