About the Role
RJE Interiors is seeking a dedicated Designer to join our Indianapolis office team. This full-time, on-site position involves overseeing commercial furniture specifications and collaborating closely with the design director to deliver quality projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in client fact-finding sessions and programming to understand project needs.
- Create compelling design presentations supporting typical furniture specifications.
- Develop detailed furniture floorplans, specifications, and finish packages for client approval.
- Assist in assembling collateral materials for bids and proposal responses.
- Participate actively in product evaluation and selection processes.
- Prepare installation packets to support project execution.
- Conduct precise field measurements to ensure accuracy in designs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Hold a four-year degree in Interior Design.
- One to two years of experience in design, preferably related to the commercial furniture industry, though not mandatory.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Familiarity with CET, CAP 20/20, and Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent critical and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Strong capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, often under time constraints.
