Role Overview
As a Developer Relations professional, you will serve as a vital link between developers and our product teams, cultivating a vibrant community and championing the adoption of Tether’s technologies. Your duties will include creating compelling technical content, hosting interactive developer events, gathering ecosystem feedback, and acting as a spokesperson to promote and improve the developer experience with our platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster meaningful connections with developers, partners, and open-source communities through AMAs, webinars, and online forums.
- Aggregate developer insights and relay them to inform product and engineering direction.
- Create and manage high-quality educational materials such as blogs, tutorials, sample applications, videos, and comprehensive documentation.
- Develop demos and prototypes to illustrate practical applications of our platform.
- Enhance onboarding and user experience by contributing feedback on API design and documentation.
- Represent Tether at industry events and meetups, articulating technology benefits in accessible terms.
- Collaborate closely across engineering, product, and marketing teams to ensure developer-centric product strategies.
- Contribute to public discourse as a trusted technical authority by engaging in open source and community leadership.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 3 years professional experience in software development.
- Prior experience in developer advocacy or community management is essential.
- Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js with the ability to develop and clearly explain production code.
- Track record in creating developer-focused instructional content and delivering presentations at professional events.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Proven community engagement through diverse channels like events, GitHub, or forums.
- Understanding of best practices for optimizing developer experience and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Expertise with Llama.cpp, ggml inference engines, and AI/ML technologies, including work with LLMs, chatbots, or AI-driven SDKs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating or promoting SDKs and developer tools.
- Development experience in web, mobile, or desktop applications.
- 4 to 6 years combined experience in software development or developer relations.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools to improve productivity.
- Open-source contributions or active public code repositories.
- Knowledge of metrics for measuring developer relations success such as content reach and community growth.
- Strong background in technical writing, education, or public speaking.
- Passion for fostering developer communities through mentoring and collaborative efforts.
