Job summary

We are looking for a Developer with 4 to 7 years of experience to build, improve, and maintain secure cloud-native applications. The role focuses on Java 17, Spring Boot, React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and AWS Cloud, while working in a hybrid model with cross-functional teams. You will help deliver dependable services using GitLab, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Quarkus to support scalable business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-native backend services with Java 17, Spring Boot, and Quarkus on AWS to deliver secure, scalable capabilities aligned with business and customer needs.
• Design and implement resilient REST APIs and microservices that work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis for dependable data access and strong performance.
• Create responsive, user-friendly web interfaces with React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript to improve adoption and user satisfaction.
• Manage GitLab repositories, including branching and merge practices, to enable CI/CD pipelines that reduce release risk and speed up delivery.
• Build and tune database schemas, indexes, and queries for PostgreSQL and MongoDB to support efficient storage and predictable application performance.
• Use Redis caching approaches to lower latency, reduce load on primary databases, and improve service responsiveness.
• Follow secure coding practices across Java, TypeScript, and database access layers to protect sensitive data and meet internal and regulatory standards.
• Develop automated unit, integration, and component tests across backend and frontend code to improve quality and support continuous delivery.
• Work closely with product owners, architects, and QA specialists in a hybrid setting to refine requirements and deliver features that solve real business problems.
• Track application behavior through logs and metrics in AWS, identify issues early, perform root-cause analysis, and apply corrective fixes.
• Prepare clear documentation for designs, configuration choices, and deployment runbooks to support onboarding and long-term maintainability.
• Take part in code reviews and pair programming to share knowledge, maintain standards, and strengthen team productivity.
• Support planned production releases in a day-shift schedule and help resolve defects quickly so customer-facing services remain available.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Java 17, Spring Boot, and Quarkus in enterprise-grade backend development.
• Strong working experience with React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript for building maintainable and accessible frontend applications.
• Practical knowledge of AWS Cloud services related to hosting, storage, monitoring, and cost-aware deployment design.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including schema design, query optimization, and migration practices.
• Working knowledge of GitLab for version control and pipeline automation across build, test, and deployment stages.
• Experience using Redis caching patterns to improve response time and handle high read traffic.
• Good communication skills for working effectively in distributed hybrid teams and with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• AWS Certified Developer Associate or an equivalent cloud certification is preferred.
